NOTHING IS QUITE LIKE THE FEELING YOU GET LOOKING AT OLD PHOTOGRAPHS. NOSTALGIC FOR MEMORIES OR PEOPLE THAT ARE NO LONGER HERE. SEEING AN IMAGE THAT TAKES YOU BACK TO A PLACE OR TIME, OR GIVES YOU A SENSE OF WHO SOMEONE WAS THAT YOU DIDN’T GET THE CHANCE TO KNOW.

NO MATTER HOW MUCH TECHNOLOGY ADVANCES, I DON’T THINK ANYTHING WILL BEAT HOLDING A PHOTO THAT’S IMPORTANT TO YOU IN YOUR HANDS.

TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS YOU CAN - YOU’LL ALWAYS WISH YOU TOOK MORE

We can turn your digital photo into a tintype so it’s preserved to last for hundreds of years. Think of it like a print… except way better.

Digital Photo To A Tintype
from $80.00

Once purchased you will receive a confirmation email which will have a link for you to upload your photo! Please allow up to 2 weeks for your tintype to be ready.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • THIS PROCESS WILL GIVE YOUR PHOTOS MORE CONTRAST (HIGHLIGHTS AND SHADOWS ARE DEEPER)

  • THE TINTYPE QUALITY WILL ONLY BE AS GOOD AS THE DIGITAL PHOTO YOU SEND!

  • AS WITH ALL TINTYPES, CHEMICAL REACTIONS MAY CAUSE SLIGHT IMPERFECTIONS AND IT IS NORMAL FOR DUST/SMALL BLEMISHES TO HAPPEN DURING VARNISHING

We offer a unique and nostalgic experience of turning your cherished digital photos into stunning physical tintypes. The process begins with you sending us the digital photo you wish to transform and I will convert your digital image into a format suitable for the tintype creation process, ensuring the preservation of every detail and emotion captured in the original photograph.

Next, using traditional tintype techniques I’ll transfer your image onto a specially prepared metal plate. This meticulous process involves carefully coating the plate with light-sensitive chemicals and exposing it to create a one-of-a-kind tintype.

Once the tintype is complete, we carefully package it to protect its delicate surface during transit. Afterward, your stunning physical tintype will be sent back to you, ready to be held, admired, and proudly displayed.

Transforming your digital photo into a tangible tintype is a truly special way to bridge the gap between the past and the present, embracing the charm and character of vintage photography. Experience the joy of owning a unique piece of art that captures the essence of your digital memories, now preserved in a tangible and timeless form.

breaking the traditional standard of headshots.

Headshots are a first impression, they shouldn’t feel stiff, posed, or outdated. They should tell a story about who you are, and make the viewer want to know more. That is my intention.
